We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our import customer service team as a Customer Service & Documentation (Import) Executive. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordination with customers, monitoring shipments, preparing import documentation, and handling shipment-related issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with customers over email and phone and act as the main point of contact for customer accounts.
  • Monitor client shipments on a day-to-day basis from booking to delivery.
  • Book shipments with carriers and ensure import documents are noted with customs to avoid any delays and ensure smooth customs clearance.
  • Handle all shipment-related issues from origin to overseas and resolve them promptly.
  • Prepare daily management information system (MIS) reports as required by clients and management.
  • Ensure complete accuracy in performing all tasks.
  • Coordinate with customs for clearance and operations for all activities.
  • Collaborate with shipping lines/airlines for IGM manifest and DO details.
  • Work with consignees and overseas agents to ensure smooth operations.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by management.


  • Proven experience in a similar customer service and documentation role in the import industry
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and knowledge of import procedures
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
